SUMMARY: **Temporary Position**
This temporary position receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. The shipping and receiving lead position verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Promotes and practices SPI leadership standards.

Valid driver’s license

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk or stand. Working with various power requirements from low voltage to high power applications. Various types of equipment, machines, cranes, and material handling items used throughout the shop. Some processes and running equipment can generate moderately loud noises at times. Many areas of the shop are heated (for the cold seasons), but not air conditioned (for the summer months).
